With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 20 years as a Retail Bank Manager, Chad Nickisch transitioned to Mortgage Lending in 2020. He has been serving Peoples Bank for eight years, with three years as a Bank Manager and five years in Mortgage Lending.
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Idaho and completion of the Executive Development Program at the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
Born and raised in Sandpoint, Idaho, Chad moved to Bellingham in 2001 and has served this market ever since. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, woodworking, and home improvements.
At Peoples Bank, Chad appreciates the strong focus on customer service and community building, which fosters long-term banking relationships. The most fulfilling part of his job is seeing clients at the closing table, signing for one of the largest investments of their lives, and knowing that he played a part in making it happen.
Chad is passionate about ensuring his clients feel confident and informed about their financial decisions. His goal is to see his clients out in public, knowing he did right by them, whether it’s a smile, handshake, or hug. He strives to be a great educator, helping clients understand the types of loans offered and how each fits into their overall financial picture, setting them up for the best future possible.
